FAQ’S

1). What should I wear to class?

Please wear comfortable clothing with no zippers.

2). Do you have a sock policy?

We highly recommend that you wear grip/sticky socks to class. This is for hygienic reasons for everyone at the studio and it will also help to support you during certain exercises.

3). I’m late for the class. Can I join it if it has already started?

We start class on time and you cannot join if you are late.
Please also come to class no earlier than 15 minutes. We observe this policy to avoid disruptions to the group class that is already in session.

4). Can I pay for the class in cash on-site?

We do not accept cash payments on-site. All bookings must be made online — you can pay by Card, SEPA or PayPal through our booking system, Eversports.

5). Are all the classes taught in English?

Yes.

6). I forgot something at the studio!

Please ask your instructor if you can check the “lost and found box” the next time you are at the studio. You can also email us about your item.

7). I’ve never done Pilates before, where should I start?

Start with a Foundation or Level 1 class. We are excited to help you get started!

8) I have injuries — how should I proceed coming to a class?

Please only join Level 1 classes while working through an injury. Let your instructor know about your injury at the beginning of the class so they can help you with modifications.

9) I am pregnant. Are the classes here right for me?

Pilates is wonderful for pregnancy. Please only join Level 1 classes if you are pregnant. Let your instructor know at the beginning of class both that you are pregnant and what trimester you are in, so they can inform you what to modify for your safety.

10) I am post natal. How should I proceed coming to class?

Please only join Level 1 classes if you are post natal unless your instructor has approved that can join a Level 2 class. Let your instructor know about the status of your diastatis (your abdominal gap from pregnancy) and any other factors you may be experiencing so they can inform you how to modify the exercises if needed.

11) I feel as though I am getting sick right before class and am not sure what to do!

We have a 12 hour cancellation policy for all classes.
If you are not feeling well and come to class with symptoms (a runny nose, bad cough etc), the instructor has the right to ask you to please leave the class for everyone’s safety, in which case you can email us and we will take care of a solution with you.

11) I am an instructor that wants to observe a class to meet my required hours for my Pilates certification.

We love having instructors in teacher training! Please email us in advance to inquire about the class you’d like to observe as we need to ask our clients if they would be comfortable with it.
